About AOK Training

​AOK Training Center, located in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, specializes in providing professional healthcare training and certification courses. We offer American Heart Association (AHA) classes like BLS, ACLS, and PALS, as well as continuing education and specialized training for nurses and medical professionals. Our programs are designed for both individuals and organizations, with online and in-person options available.

The center emphasizes hands-on, scenario-based instruction led by experienced healthcare educators.

Meet our Founder / CEO
Kimberly Austin

Kimberly Austin, MSN, RN, CPEN, SANE-P, TCRN, is a seasoned nurse leader, educator, and healthcare consultant with over two decades of experience spanning patient care, disaster response, and professional training. As the founder and CEO of AOK Training, she has built an innovative educational center that empowers healthcare professionals, emergency responders, and community members through certifications, life support training, and mentorship programs.

Kimberly’s expertise has been recognized internationally by organizations such as the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN), and the International Forensic Nurses Association (IFNA). Her diverse skill set includes leading emergency response initiatives, fostering public-private collaborations, and providing strategic consulting to optimize patient care and operational excellence.

With a strong commitment to community engagement, Kimberly serves on the North Carolina Emergency Management Training Committee and leads the Fuquay-Varina Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). She also actively contributes to advancing education and policy within her field through her leadership roles in local, state and international committees.

A highly accomplished educator, Kimberly holds a Master’s in Nursing Education and multiple certifications, including CPEN, TCRN, and SANE-P. Her passion for education, safety, and mentorship continues to drive her mission of promoting excellence in healthcare and emergency preparedness on a global scale.
